The Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario invites you to Spacecraft Brewery (854 Notre Dame Avenue) to celebrate the start of the holiday season and the official launch of the Nouveau Louvre virtual art sale.

It will be a lively event with songs, art, dance, drinks, snacks, cheerful music, a campfire, and more! Sanitary measures will be in effect. Dress warmly to better enjoy the outdoor festivities.

The virtual sale will bring together artworks of all kinds, by artists from here and elsewhere. There will be something for everyone! To preview the Nouveau Louvre artworks, visit the GNO boutique.

Virtual art sale principles:

  • First come, first served !
  • All artworks will be priced at $200.
  • Proceeds will be shared between the artist and the GNO.
  • The artist receives $125, and the GNO receives $75.
  • The sale will continue until January 29, 2022. Gift certificates will be available for those who wish to offer an artwork as a gift.

Attention artists!

The gallery invites you to submit artworks of all kinds for sale. Submitted works will be displayed on the GNO’s virtual boutique through November, before the sale. The sale will begin virtually on November 20th at 7 pm and as part of a festive party at Spacecraft Brewery.

Responsibilities of the artist

  • Select a maximum of 5 artworks that you are willing to let go for $200.
  • Take a close-up photo of each piece, and if possible, in a natural light setting.
  • Provide descriptions of each artwork by filling out the submission form.
  • Once a sale is made, deliver or mail the artwork to the buyer. Make sure to submit work that you are able to deliver or mail.

The GNO will coordinate the delivery of the works by providing the name and address of the buyer to the artist. The gallery will also be responsible for invoicing the buyer, paying the artist, and if applicable, reimbursing delivery costs (maximum $25 per artwork).
