Materiality is important in the artist’s recent work, as is the case for any blending of materials to express a search for personal meaning. In this work meaning seems to surface, meaning seeking stability and clarity as the mind mulls over various images. It is through the observation of the constant cycle of life, death and rebirth that pushes the artists to the limits of her creation.
