For numerous years, the artist’s interest was oriented toward new ways of presenting photography.
“In my research for La photographie : la déconstruction d’une mémoire fragmentaire (Photography : the deconstruction of partial memory), I wanted to bring attention toward a photographic typology that shows a decay and rebuilt of the real. Photography is then freed of its fidelity obligations. The medium mixes with other elements that modify its purity. The artist’s research is not limited to the revelation of the pictures but also includes rubbing, scratching, altercating the emulsion of it… which give another dimension to the artwork.”
