By immersing himself in this urban landscape, Cueto aims to reveal a space that transcends physical boundaries, delving into the dimensions of time, experience, imagination and emotion. Through his lens, Cueto captures the sound and light dimensions of the people he encounters.
Cueto invites the public to meet him at the gallery every Wednesday from September 27 to October 25, 2023, from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Projections will take place on the gallery’s façade every Friday from September 29 to October 27, 2023, from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Jorge Cueto's Logbook : the artistic process
Jorge Cueto
As a Historian and a visual artist Cueto seeks to decipher, translate, his experiences to new audiences by way of photographs and interviews. Being a photographer has allowed Cueto to witness and document the changes that occur from an industrial, historical and socio-cultural perspective. Following the establishment of his studio, Cueto documented a series of visual stories, ranging from the documentation of the Nickel Industry at VALE in Copper Cliff, to the photo studies of closed off cultural groups such as Motorcycle Clubs in Ontario or documenting Christian parades in Northern Spain.
