Through this collective exhibition, Monique Beaulieu, Monique Girard and Brigitte Roy give the spectator their impression of the feminine specificity of our time. With ninety feet of translucent banner installed in a spiral, the artists represent the repetitious rhythm of life and the fragility of the human being in its mobility. Each banner bears witness to images referring to the dynamic changes of humanity. The spectator is inevitably aspired by the inviting spiral form of the installation where a video is projecting images of women’s public demonstrations. This passage could be perceived as a ritual essential to the comprehension of the installation.
