From a young age, Mathieu Cardin displayed exceptional skills in combat sports, gymnastics and theatre. From these first fields of interest, he has retained great flexibility, an excellent capacity for adaptation, and a fantastic uppercut. His practice focuses mainly on sculpture and installation work where accumulation and deconstruction come together to create a world of absurdist imagery.
