Réal Patry

Refuge

Exhibition

A hospital, a dispensary where dozens of beds for children are lined up. Stereoscopic photographs printed on the fabrics of these little beds. Life-size children asleep there, but also tree branches, the imprint of man on the moon, ant eggs… It’s a bit of the disconcerting effect created by Réal Patry’s installation where the relief created by three-dimensional photography brings hackneyed images of our recent past closer to the actuality of the present. New poetic contexts emerge. Imagine the blue and the red, the vein and the artery… Imagine the fragility of life.
