Fair of Alternative Art in Sudbury

An interdisciplinary fair where more than thirty artists explore various forms of art : performance, video, photography, sound, poetry, graffiti, painting, and drawing…

A fair where artistic practices converge in one time-space…

A fair that will bring together ten presenters and exhibitors from Ontario, Québec and New Brunswick.

The creation and presentation of artwork take place in the bar and the rooms of the Townehouse Tavern, at la Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario and in public places in downtown Sudbury.

Activities : Opening party, artists talk, round tables, exhibitions and performance evenings.

All spaces are open to the public.

Stephen Andrews from Toronto (video and drawing), Dominique Banoun from Toronto (performance, photography and sound), Mariana Lafrance from Sudbury (photography), Maria Legault from Toronto (performance), Pascal Paquette from Toronto (poster, painting and graffiti), le collectif P8 with Colette Jacques from Larder Lake, Normand Fortin from Kapuskasing, Laurent Vaillancourt from Hearst and Pierre Albert from Fauquier (performance, installation and sound), le collectif Taupe Inc. from Moncton with Jennifer Bélanger, Mario Doucette, Angèle Cormier and Jean-Denis Boudreau (performance et installation).
