St-Louis de Gonzague School is a beautiful site with a history that we are excited to explore using the lense of “territory” as we scavenge for materials and stories that will illuminate our installation.
In a building erected by a settler organization, meant for French and English speakers, how do we honour and acknowledge that we are on traditional Aanishnabe territory? As modern Canadians, how do we view the concept of “territory”, and how can we all find belonging on this land together?
