Maximilian Suillerot


Maximilian Suillerot est un.e artiste queer d’origine franco-mexicaine basé.e à Toronto. Sa pratique multimédia s’est étoffée suite à une formation à Paris (France) à Les ARCADES ainsi que des études à l’University of Toronto où iel à obtenu un Baccalauréat en Arts Visuels.

Dans sa pratique, Maximilian joue avec les concepts d’absence et de présence dans les codes queer, tout en​ se questionnant sur les procédés psychologiques et les limites de l’intime. La notion de mémoire, de deuil et de fiction s’entremêlent avec des aspects de récit personnel révélant un inconfort comique désactivé par des rituels qui servent de mécanismes d’adaptation à l’existence.
