« Nourished by cinema, visual arts, literature and philosophy my work is mainly interested by the role narrative plays in our experience of the world. It explores how emotion, nature, mental state, and social interaction are interpreted and understood through processes of narrative construction. Through video and digital animation, I construct experimental fiction as well as contemplative animation loops.
I hold a master’s degree in film studies (Université de Montréal) and my bachelor degree is a combination of cinema and philosophy. My work has been exhibited in artist-run centres and galleries as well as at various festivals across Canada. In 2013, I received the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ) award for best work in art and experimentation presented as part of the 31e Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois. I am represented by Joyce Yahouda Gallery and my videos are distributed by Groupe Intervention Video (GIV). I currently resides in Montreal. »
